The Natomas Arts and Education Foundation (NAEF) was founded in 2001 to ensure students are exposed to and participate in the arts. The Board and members of NAEF are deeply committed to supporting arts and believe that the creativity and passion accessed through art are essential to a complete education and a rich and vibrant community. Over the years, in conjunction with the local school district and numerous community partners, NAEF's greatest contribution has been the establishment of the Benvenuti Performing Arts Center (BPAC). This $8 million, 14,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art performance space is dedicated to offering dynamic programming that inspires, challenges, and empowers audiences of all ages.
NAEF has also sponsored a broad range of national and international performances staged at the BPAC, ranging from the Created Equal film series to original, stunning performances by the Bejing Opera Institute. Additionally, through a large assortment of grants, cash donations, matching funds, and partnerships, NAEF is helping to promote and support the arts in the Natomas area. Whether it be a large grant for construction of a theater, or grants for education and art related projects in the area, NAEF is striving to provide unique opportunities to ensure access to arts in our schools and community.
