$2,000 Goal

Roseville Genealogical Society (RGS) has been offering resources to the residents of the City of Roseville and the surrounding area over 30 years.  These include monthly general meetings with guest speakers, monthly workshops with open discussions, and free consultations with individual researchers at the three Roseville public libraries.  All events are in-person and/or on Zoom.  We also maintain a collection of over 1,700 volumes of genealogy-related information at Roseville’s Main Public Library.

Mission

Our mission is to stimulate an interest in studying family history and genealogy and assist persons who are researching their family history. Whether a person begins their search with documents and a name, or through a DNA test, searching for family members is what we do.

Needs

Funds to procure a wider range of national and international speakers to offer more educational opportunities to our members.

Funds to keep our electronics and software current for more professional meetings, presentations and consultations with our researchers.

Funds to pay for the property and liability insurance that is required by the City of Roseville to house and display our genealogical library.

Funds to pay for individual memberships for people in need.

Equity Statement

We respect and value diverse life experiences and heritages.
