Help Us Clean the Sacramento Waterways

I am asking for donations to help fund necessary tools and feed necessary volunteers, who, like me, work so hard to return these waterways back to a healthy state, allowing fish to return, aquatic life to thrive, and the ecosystem to flourish.  

Sacramento is the "City of Two Rivers", the "City of Trees", as well as the Capital of the most environmentally friendly state in the US, but it has neglected and ignored our creeks and waterways.  I have been volunteering for the last few years to help clean, restore, and protect them, working to revitalize the health of our local waterways.  I have pulled out shopping carts, tents, couches, mattresses, baby strollers, sleeping bags, clothes, and more.  You name it, we have pulled it out of a waterway.  Not only am I active in the creeks, physically removing the debris, but I work to update local policies and ordinances that are ineffective and out of step with what is currently going on, speaking with City Council Members and County Supervisors.  I connect with local and state agencies, property owners, and businesses to coordinate debris removal and am a huge champion for the trashed and neglected waters.  We have removed over 1.4 MILLION pounds of trash and debris from our waterways since January 2023.  There is still so much more!  We are all volunteers who donate their time, energy, gas, and resources and I am asking for help to help us continue our mission...To Restore and Protect our Waterways.
