Your donation – and impact – will be DOUBLED this Big Day of Giving!
For this year’s Big Day of Giving, one of the local nonprofits I’m supporting is Placer Land Trust. I value this organization because as a member, I know I’m helping to protect natural and agricultural lands here in Placer County that will have a global impact for generations to come.
Land conservation has never been more necessary or important, but unfortunately, it is not keeping up with the pace of growing threats to our lands, waters, wildlife, and ways of life. Especially here in Placer County, one of the fastest growing counties in the State.
But every piece of land conserved means less carbon dioxide in the air we breathe, healthier soil for our crops, and cleaner water from our taps. Their preserves also provide vital habitat for plants and wildlife, and many create outdoor recreation opportunities for us all to enjoy.
Your donation of any size will not only help protect more vital land, but it will also make you a Placer Land Trust member, or will extend your membership for a full year. AND, the first $80,000 in donations will be DOUBLED by a matching fund!
Please join me in donating to Placer Land Trust during Big Day of Giving. Together, we can save the land we love, strengthen our community, and create a healthier planet!
