CARE TEAM - EMPOWER YOLO 2024

At Empower Yolo, the CARE Team Advocates offers comprehensive services for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking. Available 24/7, the CARE Team provides immediate crisis response with unwavering compassion and empathy. Services include accompaniment to forensic medical exams and police interviews, safety planning sessions, and addressing immediate needs by connecting victims to resources and follow-up services. In 2023, 299 adult survivors and 132 children received advocacy, support services, and/or accompaniment. Overall, the CARE Team Advocates bring hope and empowerment to victims, ensuring their voices are heard and advocating for them during these very difficult times.
