Women Community Leaders: Junior League of Sac

JLS is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training. 

I’ve been a member since 2018, serving in various leadership roles before taking on the role of President for the 2023-2025 League years. 

Throughout the years I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with community partners to address the most pressing needs in our community, I’ve advocated for policies and legislation that impact women, children and families, I’ve participated in webinars, conferences and trainings that have helped me grow and develop as an effective leader, I’ve learned new skills that have enhanced my professional and personal growth, and I’ve established long lasting friendships.

JLS is an organization that offers so much to its members and community. We strive to make a meaningful impact through our programming and partnerships, all while breaking down barriers and creating civic leaders. 

Thanks to the Sacramento Region Community Foundation for the opportunity for others to learn about, and donate to an organization that’s so important to me.
