Making an impact for Sacramento's waterways

This one is personal for me. I have poured my heart and soul (and a whole lot of time, sweat and energy) into helping removing trash from my beloved hometown. I care deeply about our waterways and it is disheartening to see how abused and neglected they are. I am so f'ing proud to be one of the co-founders of River City Waterway Alliance. This group is truly impactful. Not just words or ideas. But boots on the ground (literally), doing the grunt work to make our waterways cleaner and viable for wildlife. And damn, this group is changing things for the better. Over 1.4 million pounds in just over a year, and getting action and attention from elected officials, public agencies, and the public. I feel such hopefulness.  I'm asking for your support of River City Waterway Alliance with a donation to the Sacramento Area Creeks Council through the Big Day of Giving.
