Granite Wellness Centers (GWC) is a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals who are struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. 

We are located in Auburn, Grass Valley, Lincoln, and Roseville, and accept clients from anywhere in California, regardless of their financial situation or insurance coverage.

We recognize that sustainable recovery requires a personalized and culturally responsive strategy so that each individual is able to navigate their recovery with dignity, connection, and purpose.

In many counties, we are the only provider of the full range of treatment services, including:

  • Detoxification, Residential treatment, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient services
  • Transitional housing for individuals who are enrolled in Outpatient services
  • Adolescent Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient services; youth outreach and prevention
  • Specialized Residential Treatment, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient Programs for women and mothers in recovery, with the option for parents to live with their children in transitional housing
  • Child development programming for clients' children while they attend services
  • DUI, PC1000, and Batterer’s Intervention programs
  • Culturally specific programs that incorporates traditional healing practices and community engagement for monolingual Spanish-speaking families
  • Numerous life skills classes such as anger management, parenting, financial literacy, and more

 

Mission

We are committed to fostering wellness and strengthening community by providing comprehensive substance use treatment and diverse behavioral health services

Needs

Many of our clients are from under-resourced communities and may be uninsured or underinsured. We work with every individual to find a way to cover the cost of their treatment, regardless of their situation.

Your donation supports:

• Creating a comfortable, home-like environment for our Residential and transitional housing clients and their children.

• High quality childcare while clients attend services to create a better future for themselves and their families.

• Strengthening and expanding current Outpatient facilities, to ensure we can address every client’s unique needs.

• Outreach to local middle and high schools to prevent substance use disorders.

• Financial assistance for treatment to individuals who lack insurance or do not qualify for grant funding.
