At Fairytale Town, kids are joyful and their imaginative thinking flourishes. More than 250,000 children and their families, of all backgrounds, enjoy this beloved Sacramento landmark. Kids laugh and learn as they enjoy the 26 playsets dotted across this beautiful park of 3.5 acres. Free outdoor play is crucial for healthy child development.
As a nonprofit organization dedicated to healthy, curious young learners, Fairytale Town is affordable for the community with admission just $8 weekdays ($9 weekends). Kids can play at the park over 300 days a year.
In addition to regular park visits, kids enjoy summer camps, educational experiences with our family of barnyard animals, puppet shows, campouts, performances by the Fairytale Town Troupers youth drama crew, themed events -- and under the thatched roof of the new Story Center children are encouraged to think up their own original ideas and draw, write or act them out on the stage. The cottage also features a reading corner fostering early literacy.
