$15,000 Goal

Our organization is the sole Filipino-American group in Elk Grove, dedicated to preserving and celebrating Filipino culture within the community.  Recognizing that Filipinos are the second largest and fastest-growing Asian group in Elk Grove and the County, we strive to create a "Bayanihan" (community) where members can connect with their heritage. We currently promote Filipino folk dancing and hope to soon offer Tagalog lessons for those who were discouraged from learning their parents' language, with aspirations to expand our offerings to include Filipino cuisine, native instrument instruction, and group trips to the Philippines to connect with ancestral roots.  We are committed to building a strong community and sharing the richness of Filipino culture with Elk Grove.
