Giving Activity

Mission

OUR MISSION is to provide a nurturing environment for those experiencing adverse circumstances while addressing basic needs in such areas as housing, economic mobility, and good health.

Needs

Donations

Funding is essential to sustain and expand our mentorship and educational programs, ensuring that young people have the resources they need to succeed academically and professionally. By investing in these initiatives, we can equip youth with the skills and guidance necessary to break cycles of poverty and achieve long-term stability.

Additionally, financial contributions will play a crucial role in the development of our housing program, a key long-term goal for HHCDC. Safe and stable housing is a fundamental need that directly impacts economic mobility. With adequate funding, we can establish a program that provides not only shelter but also the necessary support services to help individuals and families transition toward independence and success.

Transportation

Access to reliable transportation is a significant barrier for many of the individuals HHCDC serves. Without consistent and affordable transit options, youth and families struggle to participate in mentorship programs, attend workshops, and access essential outreach services. Addressing transportation challenges is a priority, as it directly impacts our ability to reach those in need and connect them with critical resources.

Volunteers

HHCDC thrives on the dedication of volunteers who bring expertise, passion, and commitment to our programs. We are in need of mentors and educators to guide youth through college readiness, workforce development, and financial literacy training.

Additionally, volunteers are essential in organizing and facilitating workshops, events, and outreach efforts. From coordinating financial literacy sessions to assisting with community events, volunteer support ensures that our programs run smoothly and effectively. By joining our volunteer network, individuals can make a direct and lasting impact on the lives of youth and families, helping them overcome challenges and build a path toward success.

Equity Statement

HHCDC is committed to fostering equity by addressing the systemic barriers that impact underserved communities. We believe that every individual deserves access to safe housing, economic opportunities, and holistic well-being. Through our programs, we strive to create pathways to stability and self-sufficiency, ensuring that all individuals—regardless of their circumstances—have the resources and support necessary to thrive.

Our commitment to equity is rooted in our mission to provide a nurturing environment for those experiencing adversity. At HHCDC, we recognize that true equity requires intentional action, and we are dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities that uplift and transform lives.
