Mission
To advance the health and wellbeing, housing and economic mobility of diverse communities, especially those who are vulnerable.
Needs
1. We're committed to delivering essential programs and services to our community, ensuring everyone has access to vital resources.
2. Families from different countries moving into their own spaces require significant assistance with acquiring essential household items, in addition to VESL (Vocational English as a Second Language) teachers who can help them overcome language barriers.
3. Professional attire sets a serious tone for job interviews. Donating new or gently used items like shoes, blouses, suits, and more greatly assists our job seekers in securing employment.
4. Youth and Adult workshops focusing on job readiness, labor market training, exposure to career pathways, peer support, mentoring, job shadowing, career exposure, apprenticeship access, and work-based learning and training.
5. The cost of transportation for our families to and from appointments, interviews, and work can be challenging to meet. Donations of gift cards for gas, Uber, Lyft, or bus passes can help offset this cost.
