$20,000 Goal

Junebug Foundation is a small 501c3 pet rescue started by a veterinarian. Our goal is to help pets with medical needs receive the care they need and then provide a loving foster home while they heal. Once the pet has made a full recovery, we search for a loving forever home.

Mission

We are dedicated to rescuing and caring for surrendered or abandoned pets with medical needs, ensuring they receive the vital treatment they would otherwise go without. Through compassionate care, we provide these animals with a second chance at a healthy, happy life.

Every donation goes directly toward diagnostics, essential surgeries, ongoing medical treatment, and the rehoming process. While they recover, each pet is placed in a nurturing foster home, receiving the love and support they need until they are ready to find their forever families. Our commitment is to give every pet a fighting chance and a future filled with hope and companionship.

Needs

At Junebug Foundation, we are dedicated to the compassionate care, rehabilitation, and rehoming of animals in need. However, to fulfill our mission and expand our impact, we rely on the support of our community and partners. Below are the critical needs that enable us to provide the best care for the animals who depend on us:

1. Financial Support

Operating Expenses: Donations to cover veterinary care, medications, food, and bedding.

Emergency Funds: Contributions for urgent medical cases or unexpected rescue efforts.

2. In-Kind Donations

Pet Supplies: Food, treats, bedding, toys, collars, leashes, and crates.

Cleaning Supplies: Disinfectants, laundry detergent, garbage bags, and paper towels.

Medical Supplies: Bandages, syringes, first-aid kits, and other essential veterinary tools.

3. Volunteer Support

Foster Homes: Temporary care for animals awaiting adoption.

Events and Fundraising: Help organizing adoption events, awareness campaigns, and fundraising activities.

4. Professional Services

Behavioral Training: Expertise in training and rehabilitating animals with behavioral challenges.

Transportation: Volunteers or donations for transporting animals to appointments, foster homes, or adoption events.

5. Awareness and Advocacy

Social Media Engagement: Sharing our mission and stories to reach potential adopters and donors.

Every donation, whether of time, resources, or funds, directly contributes to saving lives and providing a brighter future for animals in need. Together, we can create a community where every animal is valued and cared for.

Equity Statement

At Junebug Foundation, we believe that animal welfare and social equity go hand in hand. We are committed to creating a compassionate and inclusive environment where every individual—human and animal—feels valued and respected.

We are dedicated to continuous learning and action to build a future where everyone, regardless of their background, can contribute to and benefit from the shared mission of rescuing and protecting animals.
