Northern California School of the Arts (NorCal Arts) is a non-profit performing arts education organization offering a variety of transformative performing arts educational opportunities. School Outreach: Classroom Residencies & Afterschool Program: Currently, NorCal Arts provides classroom residencies and after-school programs instruction to over 10,000 students in 330 classrooms to students in after-school programs across Title 1 Schools in the Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD), Elk Grove Unified School District, Folsom Cordova Unified School District, and Twin Rivers Unified School District.
The Performing Arts Corps: For the serious young theater student, this is a professional stage and screen actor training that includes premier and regional performance opportunities that can lead to highly acclaimed theater arts college programs.
Classes & Camps: Performing Arts Youth Camps and Classes that build confidence and enable opportunities for self-expression, creativity, and collaboration with peers.
The Leadership Institute: A student-driven program with students organizing community-based activities that are designed to promote theatre arts, nurture the community's diversity and promote inclusion. In the process, students learn leadership, communication, and professional business skills.
College Admissions Counseling & Career Readiness: Led by a certified college admissions counselor who offers students an identity-based college counseling program that empowers students as they learn life skills while pursuing their post-high school aspirations.
