September 2023 our first rescue came into our lives. He was a giant slobbering bluenose Pit Bull which we named Blue. We were unable to turn him away and unable to place him in the local shelters due to his breed. We knew what would happen because all the shelters were/are full. We knew then we needed to help dogs like Blue have a soft landing and get a second chance at finding LOVE. I managed to convince my husband we should start up a dog rescue to help others like Blue. Within 2 weeks of becoming Peachy Day Farms Rescue officially we had 3 momma dogs with puppies and Blue for a total of 26 dogs. Seeing the communities around us rise up and support our cause has been uplifting and has made this journey even more fulfilling. In our first year we saved 37 dogs and of which found forever homes for 26.  All donations go towards food, vaccinations, microchips, mandatory spay/neuters, and in some instances medical treatment like in the case of one of the little chihuahua puppies "Beans" who has a bad back leg and can only potty in a circle without medical intervention. We also help lost dogs get back to their families simply by catching them if lost and checking for microchips before they get hit by a car out on the country roads. Peachy Day Farms Rescue is not like other rescues you have been to. We are family run ranch on 20 acres in Herald. Our rescue dogs live the county life by riding in the side by side, feeding horses, meeting cows/goats/chickens/cats and doing other ranch chores. From time to time we do get feral and aggressive dogs who require long term training if they hope to ever be adopted and our facilities are uniquely built to accommodate the dogs other places can not. We are currently in the process of expanding and adding additional kennels so that we have more capacity to meet the needs of pets. Peachy Day Farms Rescue has the space and capability of helping horses and other livestock when needed and we hope to be in a financial position to offer these services in the near future. Peachy Day Farms Rescue has hit the ground running for the 2025 year and we don't plan on stopping any time soon.

Peachy Day Farms Rescue helps all pets through sheltering, adoption, education, and community outreach. Peachy Day Farms Rescue will neuter/spay dogs, vaccinate, train, and find loving homes for these animals. Our goals are to have a focus plan for each animal to ensure they have the best outcome once they leave our rescue.

Needs

1) Low cost spay/neuters and vaccinations for all rescues.

2) Low cost medical emergency vet to ensure our rescues get the proper and best care.

3) Kennel fencing as the population of dogs being neglected and abandoned in our areas are growing.
