Powerhouse Ministries

Powerhouse Ministries has been ending the cycles of addiction, abuse, and poverty in the Sacramento region for over thirty years. We exist to inspire and empower people to rise above their circumstances, change their lives, and impact their community. 

Residential Recovery - Our Women and Children's Center and Men's Residential Recovery Center are our no-cost residential recovery programs that offer women, with or without their children, and men services including relapse prevention, licensed therapy, case management, life skills, job readiness, family reunification, and more. 

Crisis Resources - Our Crisis and Community Care Center offers resources to those who are looking to leave behind the cycles of homelessness, addiction, abuse, sex trafficking, mental health, and incarceration. We provide immediate resources as well as long-term plans and referrals to help you get back on your feet again. 

Community Outreach - We offer weekly ways to connect, such as Sunday Night Church, Women's Bible Study, Men's Group, and Youth and Children's Programs. Throughout the year, our community outreach events include our Easter Celebration, Folsom Aquatic Center Takeovers, Trunk or Treat, Community Thanksgiving, Christmas Around Towne, and more.

Leadership College - Our Leadership College is a no-cost residential program for young men and women ages 18-24. This program offers life coaching, hands-on internships, mentorship, community career placement, and more.

Youth and Children's Programs - Part of ending the cycles of addiction, abuse, and poverty in our region is preventing them from starting in the first place. We are doing this through our weekly youth and children's programs, school campus engagement, and trauma-informed childcare.
