Refugee Enrichment & Development Association, Inc.

$184 raised by 3 donors

What began as a small group of compassionate volunteers aiding resettled refugees in our community has blossomed into the Refugee Enrichment & Development Association (REDA). As the number of refugee families seeking assistance surged and their needs grew more complex, REDA emerged as a steadfast support system.

Founded on the principles of compassion and solidarity, REDA is committed to providing refugees with the tools and resources they need to rebuild their lives. Whether it's through language classes, job training, or cultural integration programs, REDA strives to foster a sense of belonging and dignity among those who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict or persecution.

With staff who speak their languages and understand their culture, REDA ensures that individuals feel seen, heard, and supported. More than just an organization, REDA serves as a lifeline for those navigating the challenges of resettlement.

REDA has three dedicated centers: Social Services, Education, and Youth. REDA provides a holistic approach to support. These centers serve as hubs of empowerment, offering a range of services and programs.

Mission

Refugee Enrichment & Development Association is a non-profit that strives to address the needs of the refugee & immigrant community in the Sacramento Area through culturally sensitive programs and critical services to help them attain self-sufficiency, which will allow for better integration into the community at large.

3-Community Partnerships: Collaboration with local businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies is essential for the sustainability and effectiveness of REDA's programs. Building strong partnerships allows REDA to leverage resources and expertise to better serve refugees.
