Rogue Music Project (RMP) is dedicated to the exploration and presentation of daring, bold, and provocative operatic works and musical compositions for the Sacramento region. Since its founding in 2017, we have collaborated with local creators, artisans, and musicians, to present adventurous productions that push artistic boundaries and break genre rules.
In order to reinvigorate the concert and theater-going experience, this collective is dedicated to producing new works, offering itself as a platform for the audience to experience something wholly original. We use intimate spaces in order to create a personal experience for the concertgoer that invites participation. RMP has cultivated a broad audience that has come to expect the unexpected.
RMP is a bastion for local creativity. We bring together regional composers, artisans, and musicians in an effort to create homegrown experiences for our community, by our community.

Rogue Music Project (RMP) is a collective specializing in opera and classical music on the fringe. It’s RMP’s mission to entertain and enlighten audiences — creating an atmosphere of music, art, and fellowship.
FUNDING COMPOSERS, PERFORMING ARTISTS, and CREATIVE TEAMS - We are a professional company and want to ensure that our incredible artists are appropriately compensated for their work.
PRODUCTION STAFF and CREW - Opera is epic. The shows don’t happen without a strong team behind the scenes.
MARKETING - We want to get the word out, which means creating and disseminating information. From photos and videos to print work, we want everyone to know what we’re up to.
RENTALS and FEES - Licensing and rental fees associated with printed music and production rights can add up. We want to ensure composers and producers get their fair share.
GENERAL FUNDS - Because our season doesn’t operate like most traditional companies, we will continue to identify staff, supplies, and more throughout the year. Your donation helps ensure RMP is adaptable and prepared.
