$10,000 Goal

SCFM began in 1983 to supply emergency food for needy residents of the northeast Sacramento area. Food supplies and finances are donated by over 20 supporting churches, 9 schools, service organizations, businesses, and individuals. It is the mission of the Food Ministry to provide five (5) days of nutritionally balanced food once every 30 days as an emergency arises. Verifiable residents of Sacramento County are served by the Food Ministry. Since the beginning of the Food Ministry the number of individuals served has continually increased. The needs of our community are such that we currently serve over 1,800 families/6,000 individuals on a monthly basis.
