Sacramento Parks Foundation

Our foundation was started over 10 years ago to be a local non-profit that could improve the Sacramento Area Recreation and Park District's abilities to fund recreation programs and facilities. We firmly believe that the quality of life in the Sacramento Area is improved when we get active, get outside or get together to do recreation in safe and clean environments. We have succeeded in increasing the budget of each member District, through the generosity of donors and grants, and seek to further strengthen each District's depth and breadth of recreation programs through your generous donation. Every dollar goes directly into recreation programs or facilities for local resident benefit!

Mission

To support, promote, and enhance the quality of life for Sacramento area residents by enhancing the recreation programs and facilities of local Parks and Recreation Districts. By sponsoring programs and services for youth and adult recreational and sports activities. Finally, by increasing the health, social, and cultural well-being of the community by increasing the financial strength of local agencies to provide much-needed programs for our residents.
