Over the past nine (9) years Serve Sacramento has been providing resources to provide enrichment programs which have been making an impact in the Sacramento community for multiple years and have brought about a positive change in the lives of many ranging from preschool age students to High School Seniors.
The goal of Serve Sacramento Inc. is to continue and expand the good work that has already begun. There is great potential with every program that is offered to enhance the work which is being done and has the capability to reach many more in the Sacramento community.
Serve Sacramento Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to providing an outstanding "Free Book" Literacy Program, Summer Academic Camp (Literacy and Math/STEM) and College Jump/Career readiness program for high school students.
The presented programs are intended to increase community involvement, build trust, address current issues, and solidify the importance of establishing family support, nutrition, health wellness support and educational advancement.
Serve Sacramento is seeking financial partners to support general operating expenses (staff & buildings), program operating expenses (supplies) and capital expenses (technology, transportation and equipment).
In-kind donations are needed to support our programs. Some examples are school supplies, laptops and reading material for our educational/academic tutoring program. Transportation assistance (vans/buses) for our mentoring program.
We need to have access to the latest technology as a tool of empowerment for all of our programs.
We are constantly seeking volunteers that will come side by side with us with their time and talents to assist in providing needed services/support to children and families (overall community).
We are looking for partners to provide space for events, conferences, staff training and empowerment sessions for our students/families.
