As the Sacramento region looks to the future, it is imperative that we focus on entrepreneurship and small business generation to grow our economy. StartupSac serves and benefits the entire community through our cultivation of the local entrepreneurship ecosystem. StartupSac works directly with startup founders helping them discover the roadmap to venture success. As we educate, inform, and connect entrepreneurs to the resources they need, we fundamentally strengthen the local innovation economy. Supporting the work of StartupSac in greater Sacramento’s startup ecosystem, invests in a more robust and equitable economy for our region, our business, and our family.
StartupSac's mission is to accelerate the startup and innovation ecosystem in the greater Sacramento region. We achieve this by informing, educating, empowering, and connecting our region's startup founders and entrepreneurs.
StartupSac is a grassroots initiative that helps entrepreneurs from all walks of life navigate their pathways to success. We rely on donations from people like you to support this work.
Currently, we are seeking unrestricted funds to underpin our ongoing efforts. This includes organizing educational events for entrepreneurs, maintaining up-to-date resource lists on our website, publishing our weekly newsletter which highlights pertinent events and programs for new and early-stage businesses, and offering personalized guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs.
Furthermore, we aim to secure funding for a 10-week program tailored for new entrepreneurs: StartupSac FastTrac Entrepreneur Bootcamp. This program, designed to impart fundamental entrepreneurship skills, proved immensely successful during its inaugural cohort in 2023. With your support, we intend to offer this program again in 2024, nurturing the next wave of entrepreneurial talent in our community.
