The Traces of Trinity Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and families facing the challenges of long-term hospital stays, particularly those dealing with rare diseases. Founded by The Jennings Family.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to providing support and resources to families with children facing extended hospital stays, including children who are fighting rare illnesses, while honoring the memory of Trinity Jennings, by supporting families and spreading hope with a bit of sparkle. Additionally, we are committed to bringing awareness to rare diseases, including Balamuthia amoebic encephalitis, and advocating for improved support and resources for affected families.

Our Vision

Our vision is to support families navigating the challenges of extended hospital stays, including children fighting rare diseases, inspired by the memory of our beloved Trinity Jennings, who was a fighter against a very rare disease herself. We envision a future where families don't feel alone or overwhelmed by the little things during their journey, and where they find comfort, resources, and strength from the community. Trinity's beautiful legacy lives on in the lives of those she touched and through the Traces of Trinity Foundation, Trinity’s impact will touch others while also raising awareness about rare diseases while advocating for positive change.

Our Work

Traces of Trinity Foundation is involved in a variety of programs and initiatives that provide both immediate relief and long-term support for families:

  • ToT Tote Initiative: We provide care packages filled with self-care products, comfort items, and snacks to families enduring long-term hospital stays. Each tote offers a little comfort during tough times.

  • Feeding the Nurses and Doctors: We show appreciation to the healthcare teams working tirelessly by providing meals and treats to those on the front lines of care.

  • Rare Disease Awareness: We raise awareness for rare diseases and support research that will help improve the lives of those affected. Through community outreach and partnerships, we advocate for families with children fighting rare illness and shine a light on their stories.

Why Trinity?

The foundation is named after Trinity, our inspiring daughter and sister whose strength, courage, and spirit continue to impact those around us. Trinity faced numerous health challenges throughout her rare disease journey, and her legacy lives on through the work of the foundation. As we support families in similar situations, we carry forward her message of resilience, hope, and love.
