United And Guided was formed in 2017 by Sacramento Community parents and youth advocates who decided they needed to cultivate positive social change for families in Sacramento and Place Counties.
Led by CEO Imani Lucas (Masters in Organizational Management/ U. of Cal. Berkeley B.S in Sociology and former Peace Corp. Volunteer) Mr. Lucas has worked in the Sacramento nonprofit community of Sacramento since 2010. Along with Richard Johnson and Ms. LaShanya Breazell and a dedicated team of volunteers the United And Guided team works together to provide:
Restorative Justice, Mental Health, Certified Peer Support, Career Coaching, and Certified Doula services to youth and families that may or may not currently receive Medicaid.
United and Guided has worked with Sacramento School District, the Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center, Black Infant Health, Black Fathers Inc., and the Californian Department of Public Health. We are also referred clients from the Black Perinatal Equity Initiative. Our team has been providing services in our Sacramento communities for years and has built trust by caring about our clients and our community.
