The Woodland Food Closet provides a basic, direct service of food and personal hygiene items. The need for food has increased significantly since the pandemic began. We pack 3-days' worth of nutritionally balanced groceries for each member of the family. Each family member receives 9 meals total. Our clients come directly to the Woodland Volunteer Food Closet, sign in, and receive their supplies. Families are welcome to access our services twice per month. We serve individuals, families, seniors, children and infants from throughout Yolo County on a daily basis, Monday through Friday.

Our clients are individuals, families, seniors, children and infants. The Woodland Food Closet is the only agency in Woodland to provide food distribution on a daily basis, Monday through Friday.
Our sole mission is to combat hunger by providing nutritionally adequate groceries to those in need.
We purchase the majority of our food supplies from our local food bank and supermarket but rely heavily on community food drives and individual donations of canned and boxed foods.
Volunteers are always needed to pack the grocery bags on a regular basis.
