The Alliance Française Sacramento was founded in 2000 and now counts more than 550 members and 250 students per session. We offer French language classes for adults and children as well as private lessons.  We also host a variety of cultural and social events throughout the year.  The Alliance Française Sacramento is part of an international network that includes more than 100 chapters in the United States.

Mission

The mission of the Alliance Française de Sacramento is to promote the French language and culture, and to foster friendship between French speakers and people living in the Sacramento region.

Needs

-Support at our large cultural events: 14 juillet/Bastille Day & Fête de la beaujolais nouveau in November.

-Silent auction and raffle items for large events

-Volunteers for teacher's assistants in our kids' classes and French Summer Camp

-Materials for our language programs, children's summer camps, and cultural offerings.

-New /gently used matching chairs for 2 classrooms (12 each)

-Large TV Monitors 55"+ for our classrooms, library, and offices.

-Event sponsorships from businesses, foundations, and private individuals.
