Junior Tennis Fund Sacramento has been promoting junior tennis and learning in the Sacramento area for the past 9 years. Our grants are aimed at public court programs and beginner tennis for junior players, especially in under-served areas of our communities. We have also added a very extensive program that supports high school tennis teams in the Greater Sacramento area. By the end of 2023 we have donated $1000 each to 16 area high schools. These schools have become our partners in promoting tennis throughout the region. In turn we support them with funds and slightly used and refurbished tennis equipment.
JTFS supports inclusive tennis programs and opportunities at public facilities, parks, and schools in the Greater Sacramento area for all children, particularly the under-served, who would not otherwise have access and/or financial resources to enjoy the sport. The life lessons learned in the game of tennis help to prepare children for life's challenges by building inner strength, self-confidence and resilience throughout life. Tennis is for Life!
