We are about to conclude our ninth successful season of shows. Starting with our Gala Season Celebration, Fiddler on the Roof delighted our patrons with its timeless tale.  Our popular LTC Cabaret celebrated the Holiday season, and was followed by our first mystery thriller, Night Watch. We close out the season now with a delightful comedy, The Hallelujah Girls.

In the coming 2024-2025 season, We open with Titanic-The Musical. We are excited to announce that, with Titanic-The Musical, LTC will, for the first time, feature live music accompaniment in a major production. It will be followed by our annual LTC Cabaret. We'll then present the uproariously funny comedy, Noises Off and finish the season in May with an American theater classic Death of a Salesman.

Improving the Lincoln Civic Auditorium

Your support of Lincoln Theatre Company promotes city improvements in the Lincoln Civic Auditorium. By attending performances and providing financial support, you demonstrate the community's desire for local performing arts. This encourage the City of Lincoln, working with LTC, to continue investing in improvements to this historic performing arts center. For the 2024-2025 season, we have urged and expect to see

-the installation of a main curtain,

-re-introduction of scenic projection capability, and

-initial steps toward installation of raised seating.

Looking toward the future

We envision a place where we can provide you with an outstanding theatrical experience. Is there such a place in Lincoln? There can be, but the cost of locating and evaluating such places is beyond our normal operating budget. Our development fund is growing and we are seeking grants and sponsorships.  Your Big Day of Giving donations demonstrate that you support our efforts to get closer to our goal.

Mission

Lincoln Theatre Company's mission is:

-To enhance arts and culture for the City of Lincoln and surrounding communities.

- To provide professional quality theater productions for audiences of all ages using age appropriate casting.

-To create an independent venue for Lincoln Theatre Company and other participating organizations.

Needs

1. As with everything, costs of doing theater continue to rise. While we try to hold down our ticket costs for another year, we need financial support from patrons, community, and corporate sponsors. No LTC board member is compensated for service. All efforts by our volunteer board, volunteer personnel and revenues over the cost of operation goes to development funding. For example, our budget for next season includes:

-Artistic personnel costs-$20,000.

-Performance and rehearsal venue rental-$30,000

-Show and music licensing-$10,000

-Other production costs are sets, costumes, equipment, advertising, programs, supplies etc. -$55,000

It's the generous support of donors that makes theater possible.

2. We need volunteers interested particularly in programming development, the technical aspects of theater operations including set design and building, lighting and sound systems, box office and concessions, as well as skills in marketing and sales.

3. Lincoln Theatre Company can use in-kind donations of materials and services to help manage the cost of productions and related functions such as legal and accounting services, website management, printing, costume alterations, building materials.

MOST OF ALL - WE NEED YOU!
