WSF has been a continuous non-profit for over twelve years in Yolo County, supporting youth activities within the public school district. These activities include financial support of athletic, agricultural, creative arts, and music programs, as well as stipends for safety personnel such as cross-walking guards. Over the years, donations have provided uniforms for athletes, help with transportation costs to competitions, stipends for athletic coaches, supplies and funding for agricultural programs, funding for music programs to purchase supplies, and stipends for individuals essential to the safety of students. Current needs are funding for new laptops and docking stations to use in conjunction with digital x-ray machines for the new Dental Assistant Career and Technical Education program at Woodland Adult Education.
