Since 1946, YFC has been serving thousands of youth in 1st-12th grade in the greater Sacramento region (Sacramento, Placer, Nevada, El Dorado & Yolo counties), unifying local government, local businesses, schools, and the nonprofit community for the purpose of encouraging young people in their character, confidence, responsibility and faith. YFC improves the lives of over 1,500 youth yearly through our Campus Life programs, which offer mentoring and relational programs that meet weekly with over 250 students on campuses across the greater Sacramento region.
YFC uses every method at its disposal to reach young people with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.
501(c)(3) nonprofit Youth For Christ (YFC) reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ, and commitment to social involvement.
We are always looking for caring adults who will invest in the lives of young people.
Unrestricted funds help us meet our ongoing needs to fund our organization and achieve our mission in the greater Sacramento region.
