Nourishing and Engaging Seniors

I have always been passionate about food security, and I have worked for non-profits my entire professional career (30 years and counting!) As a public health professional and as MOW Yolo's initial Donor Experience Officer I have the privilege of working to improve the lives of some of Yolo County's most vulnerable citizens ~ our elders. 

Through providing nourishment and engagement, two essential ingredients to living and aging well, MOW Yolo is providing meals and connection to almost 1,000 seniors every day! This is a 150% increase from two years ago; and there are up to 8,000 seniors who could benefit from MOW Yolo services!

Under visionary leadership, I came on board seven months ago to ensure MOW Yolo has the philanthropic support to maintain and grow our services to meet the great need here in Yolo County. And I am just one person of the mighty team dedicated and passionate about MOW Yolo's work! 

MOW Yolo cannot do our work alone. It takes a village to support our elders who do not have the financial means and/or ability to shop for groceries and to prepare healthy meals. When you support Meals on Wheels, seniors thrive!
