Empower Youth Fundraising Page for Empower Yolo

Empower Youth is a teen service club at Davis Senior High School and Emerson Junior High School. The club supports Empower Yolo’s emergency safe house and other families in need (Empower Yolo is a nonprofit that supports survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking; see empoweryolo.org). Members meet bi-monthly and discuss important issues affecting our community including domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, teen dating violence, healthy relationships, mental health awareness, hunger and homelessness awareness, diversity, equity & inclusion, and more. During each meeting, Empower Youth members work on an awareness campaign and a service project that benefits the children at the safe house, or other families in need that Empower Yolo serves. 

Empower Youth is raising funds for Big Day of Giving to help support the children at Empower Yolo’s safe house and for prevention education for teens at Davis High School and Emerson Junior High.
