Hello! I am Alexandra Franzi and I am very excited to be partners with Robyn Parker for the 2024 Big Day of Giving!
Alexandra’s Story:
I am a junior at Union Mine High School and this is my second year in Hands4Hope. I did not know about this club and amazing opportunity until the beginning of my sophomore year after I had transferred schools. Even being fairly new to Hands4Hope, I have had the opportunity to meet many new people and serve my community in numerous ways. These experiences have been amazing and taught me so much about myself, which I am very grateful for. I served on the Winter Boutique Committee during this past winter and had an amazing time putting in the work to make the boutique a success. More recently, I have been helping out with Sister Nora’s Place once a month with some other young ladies to keep the amazing event going. Through my time in Hands4Hope I have learned so much and been given unique opportunities that I could not have gotten anywhere else. I hope that you will consider donating and help me give back to an organization that I have gained so much from. Thank you!
Robyn’s Story:
As a member of the Placerville Steering Committee and an Adult Volunteer, I have had the privilege and honor of working with Hands4Hope youth on various committees and events. Hands4Hope is youth driven. All events or club projects are chosen, planned, and executed by the youth. I had the opportunity of volunteering for Hands4Hope at the recent Empty Bowls event. I was so impressed with the organization and presentation of the event and the number of hours each of the youth worked to make Empty Bowls the premier event it is known for. The passion and energy the youth exhibit continues to inspire me every day! Our children are our future and Hands4Hope provides an opportunity for growth in so many ways! With your donation, you are helping to enrich the lives of our youth and those in our community.
