Hi, I am Aracely Garcia, the Program Coordinator on the Social Connections team at the Health Education Council!

I had the opportunity to Launch Strong Starts when I coordinated the Postpartum Depression workshop in Spanish.

It was a four-week workshop where we were able to provide very important information and resources to pregnant mothers and mothers of children under one year old who were experiencing postpartum depression. I was very pleased to see how bringing these resources to the moms who needed them so much made a positive difference in their lives.

HEC has given me the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. I've learned a lot doing what I love: helping my community.
