Big Day of Giving at RFDC Main Center

Roberts Family Development Center started in 2001 and since then support from our families, local businesses, and other community members have continued to make our program possible. We are eternally grateful and often still in disbelief of how far our program has come. Our wonderful founders Mr. and Mrs. Roberts started by providing academic support and enrichment to 13 scholars in our community and our program is now serving over 500 scholars and their families across 4 different school districts and in 13 different schools. 

10 of these schools are the schools in our Twin Rivers district. From those schools we have over 60 scholars who attend program at our Main Center. Our center is exceptionally lead by our site coordinator, Ms. Isaac who works tirelessly to plan trips and events for our scholars while also running our site. The rest of our staff; Mr. Myles, Ms. Kathy, Ms. Martinelli, Mr. Hogan, Ms. Thompson, Ms. Johnson, Ms. Darling and our Sacramento State Volunteers also work hard to provide our scholars with academic support as well as fun experiences via our afternoon activities. Our afternoon activities  include music, art, science, cooking, dance, and gardening. This additional support not only helps our scholars develop academically but also helps with their social and emotional development.
