Antonio's Fundraiser for Meals On Wheels

If you know me, you know I love Yolo County. This place and its people are home for me. Sadly, despite being the heart of California agriculture, producing food for all over the world, too many in Yolo County still struggle to put food on their tables every day. That's especially true for our seniors, especially in the rural areas. 

That's why I joined the Board of Meals on Wheels Yolo County, to help bring food directly to seniors in need across Yolo. From the Capay Valley to the Sacramento River; from Winters to Knights Landing; Meals on Wheels Yolo County delivers fresh meals to hundreds of people in Yolo County almost every day of the week.

None of that would be possible without the support of our generous donors, most of whom are local people who live here in Yolo. Neighbors looking out for neighbors is how we can get through tough times. Right now, times are certainly tough. With federal funding in doubt, and a recession on the horizon, the need for independent community-based nutritional support for our most vulnerable will be more important than ever.
