The Health Education Council’s work is important because our programs benefit others and help communities thrive. Our caring staff is passionate about serving others and creating positive change so that we all can live healthier lives. I am beyond blessed that HEC has been my home for over 25 years and that I get to collaborate with such inspiring people.

Promoting positive change in our community is important to me. Working for an organization whose mission is to cultivate health and well-being in under-served communities keeps me working on tough issues. 

The pandemic created a lot of uncertainty for many people, but early on, HEC was able to leverage relationships and pivot resources to provide emergency supplies and food to help vulnerable residents feel supported. 

I want people to know that HEC is a trusted partner in the community. We deliver on our services and staff are passionate about the work we do.

My fundraising goal is $250.
