Matching Funds
CK McClatchy Memorial Fund has donated to BEST money and we are using $1,000.00 as MATCHING FUNDS. These funds are designated to purchase Laptops.
We NEED laptops! We offer a spring workshop to the youth to guide them through the process of applying for youth jobs on-line. Community places that have computer rooms were booked or too far for our youth. This year we had to borrow laptops and set up the workshop into three sessions, to accommodate all the youth. WE NEED 10 laptops to provide a successful workshop.
Also, during our summer, afternoon sessions, the youth can look up information and/or play informative, interactive "games"
