I am My-Linh Vo and I am a Program Coordinator on the Wellness Education team!

Recently, I Launched a Strong Start when I establisehed our first Student Nutrition Ambassador Cohort at Luther Burbank High School with educational sessions around healthy eating, physical activity, cultural foods, mental health, sleep health, and body image. We helped empower youth to take an active role in promoting healthier food choices at their schools.

My work at HEC has helped me see how important it is to make resources not just accessible, but also culturally relevant and meaningful for the communities we serve. It has also pushed me to think about how to tailor information based on people's cultures, real-life experiences, and the needs of different audiences like elementary students, high schoolers, or families.
