2024 WX Mural Museum - Structural Column Fundraiser
This is a fundraiser for the WX Mural Museum (WXM) of 360 degrees story telling 23' structural columns, located under the WX I-80/Hwy 50 Freeway. A diverse, equitable, inclusive, accessible project, painted by local and regional mural artists.

SUMMARY:
To tell a story, a good place to start is at the beginning, especially, in our case, if it’s going to contain valued information. The ARTners Nonprofit acknowledges the WX Mural Museum’s (WXM) visionary plan lies upon the territorial land of The Nisenan People & other indigenous tribes of existence in the Sacramento region. Occupation with the colonization process has altered the physical surroundings, however the ancestral energy signature has survived. The WXM vision is to capture the essence of life, from the inception to the current, all lives with inherited claim.

The WX Mural Museum (WXM) will exhibit a distinctive importance of creative painted content of regional existence, identity and significance. Murals depicting recognizable and relatable visual substance. Preserving a land's occupied origins, a town's beginning and city’s legacy. Showcasing our quoted attribute mix that Sacramento California, City of Trees, one of the most diverse integrated places to be inspired in the country.
2. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

SUMMARY:
The WXM movement inspires and invites the local individual artists, all communities and businesses to become visionaries. Stimulating (Inspiring) new ideas of innovation and individuality for art appreciators, docents, educators, health enthusiasts, historians, holistic engagement, promoters, technology incentives and more. A reclamation of a mystic place where appreciation, represented communities and commerce connect with shared value.
3. ECONOMIC IMPACT

SUMMARY:
The WX mural museum is intended to attract tourism from local residents and out of town visitors. As the museum develops into a new attraction, the aesthetic uplift will transcend into a new venue space hosting a variety of public/private events. The one-of-a-kind unique project with an upgrade from its current dull appearance will be very appealing, economically viable and advantageous to those who invest in its possibilities.
4. DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

SUMMARY:
The WXM is Sacramento's opportunity to make a national statement and artistically remove a highway structural barrier of division. Achieved by painting our regional stories, paying tribute to the existence of our indigenous beginnings, and recognizing our diversity and inclusion. Creating representation and becoming a museum of the people.

SUMMARY:
The WXM is ideally centered, it will capture our essence, commonality and bridge our connections of the past, present and future. Magically gathering together under a separation of divide. Located under the I-80/US 50 freeway and between I-5 & Hwy 99, the WXM can easily be visited from any traveling direction. Accessible by way of vehicles, cyclists & pedestrians. Centrally located near many convenient services and amenities.

SUMMARY:
What is in a shape? It's a symbol of physical identity. It’s Sacramento, city blocks of structural strength in an array of uniqueness. The WXM embraces the distinctive pillar shape of oneness, the designed trueness and their uniformity of placement. Evolving from a unitarian form into a city character of moving forward thinking. It's S.A.C.R.A.M.E.N.T.O. all the way.
7. ENHANCED BEAUTY
“An Underutilized Space Reimagined”
SUMMARY:
The WXM will bring the WX corridor of parking lots to life with artistic, historical and beatification of the Sacramento cultural depiction. A recognized underutilized area. Reclaiming a space as a spiritual connected place, becoming a statewide attraction. The magnification of adding color, strokes and shades to the blocks of equally sized pillars will attract admirers who appreciate the upgrade. Hosting one of the two, outdoor mural museums in California. One in San Diego and one here in our beloved Sacramento.
