Pacers Moving Forward

RFDC’s Pacers Moving Foward Program (PMF) at Grant Union High School provides a holistic range of services that include academic support and enrichment through our tutoring program and study halls, parent education and engagement through monthly parent meetings, professional development through our weekly community guest speaker series and networking opportunities, and community involvement and advocacy through our field trips and community service. Our after-school program has a leadership team of program scholars that coordinates PMF events, a media team that captures our field trips and events, a culinary team that educates our scholars about nutritional meals and increases their cooking skills, a beauty enrichment that allows scholars to express their creativity and explore self-confidence, and a podcast team of scholars that discuss controversial issues with a youth perspective.
