At 24 and 25, my husband and I became foster parents to two incredible kids. Two years later, we officially adopted them. Now, at 26 and 24, they still have us to lean on whenever they need support. But for so many foster youth, that safety net doesn’t exist.
That’s why AcademySTAY is so important.
As Board Treasurer, I’m honored to help lead an organization that provides young adults aging out of foster care with the housing, guidance, and stability they need to build independent futures. When Jenny asked me to help start this organization, I couldn’t say no — because I know that with different circumstances, my own kids could have needed this support.
Your gift helps us house more students, provide life skills training, and give them the tools they need to thrive.
