5k Run & Walk 2025

Join us for the 5K Run & Walk in partnership with African Americans for Balanced Health as we advocate for health and wellness in our community. This initiative is pivotal to the museum’s mission of exploring and celebrating African American history, experiences, and culture. We aim to spark year-long conversations that honor the people, places, and events that define a rich history of struggle and triumph.

We strongly encourage community members to participate in the following ways:

•    Participate in the 5K Fun Run to champion health and wellness for all.

•    Attend our FREE Resource Fair on February 8th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to celebrate Black History Month and engage in activities for vendors and community partners to access essential resources.

•    Your involvement matters—let's honor our history together! Commit to visiting the museum throughout the year for various programming, including mural tours, educational enrichment, and exciting events.
