Promise to University

Students work tirelessly for years—balancing classes, jobs, and family responsibilities—to earn their degrees at Los Rios so they can transfer to four-year institutions. 

Unfortunately, far too many go to submit their transfer application, reach the last page, and feel defeated when they see the $80 fee. For many, $80 might be their entire food budget for the week.

Every year, more than 4,000 students across the Los Rios colleges successfully transfer to CSU or UC schools, taking the next step in their education. But how many more could join them with your help?

On this Big Day of Giving, we are asking for the $80 needed to cover the UC/CSU application fee so that every student who walks into one of our Transfer Centers can leave knowing they’ve given it their all and applied to their dream school. 

Together, we can ensure that no hardworking student has to put their future on hold over something as small as an application fee.
