The YMCA of Superior California is more than a gym and a pool.

We are a  community anchor. With a network of facilities across the Greater Sacramento area and Yolo County, we serve our community through programs and services, support, and opportunities for all - at any stage of life.  Our programs range from child care and youth athletics, fitness and wellness classes, advocacy efforts for disease prevention, plus so much more. Our goal is to bring people together, encourage healthy habits, and address the critical needs of our community.

Mission

Inspire all people to a healthy life - in spirit, mind, and body.

Needs

Our Y is dedicated to the positive development of youth, healthy living for people of all ages, and social responsibility in addressing critical needs of the communities we serve. To accomplish this we are working to:

- Offer youth scholarships to families in need of assistance. This includes access to life changing (and life saving) programs for children like swim lessons, youth sports, and child care.

- Provide specialized fitness and health classes, plus accessible memberships for seniors living on fixed incomes.

- Develop additional and new programs for underserved populations of our community. This includes services for developmentally disabled individuals, addressing housing and homelessness issues, and opportunities for low income families.

We are also seeing community partners, advisors, and/or volunteers with backgrounds in health care, human services, finance, and technology.

Equity Statement

We believe that our strength comes from our differences and diversity. With humility and grace, we are committed to providing an open, inclusive, equitable, and welcoming environment for all.
